An ideal base for those wishing to explore the unspoilt and historic landscapes of Northumbria.

Run by its owners, Val and Keith Anderson, The Butterchurn Guest House in the heart of the village of Otterburn provides a warm welcome and friendly family atmosphere. The large stone built house offers excellent year round accommodation.
Guests have all day access to their spacious rooms, the house, and the large garden, which runs down to the River Rede. Children are welcome.
Help yourself to cereal and fruit juice at the buffet table, followed by a full English breakfast. We are happy to provide a packed lunch by prior arrangement.
Relax in the comfortable TV and residents lounge, which you can use all day.
Seven comfortable, centrally heated, Tudor style double or twin bedded rooms - one with a four poster bed. Each room has en-suite shower, toilet and hand basin, and colour television. Courtesy tray with tea, coffee and biscuits refreshed daily.
There is ample off street private parking, and secure storage for motor cycles and bicycles. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
Otterburn is situated on the edge of the Northumberland National Park on the A696, making The Butterchurn Guest House a natural overnight stop on route to and from Scotland
